Joann Malloy started drawing at the age of three and then specialized in pastel portraits growing up.

“Pastel portraiture is one of my specialties.  I enjoy capturing the essence of a person’s character and translating that to an image of color and design to create a finished pastel portrait.”

Joann enjoys creating portraits of individuals or groups of individuals with a particular focus on children as subject matter. Joann has enjoyed over 26 years of exhibiting and rendering portraits and paintings.
